In the case of this pharmaceutical company, the biggest benefit was the ability of CloudCasa to perform Kubernetes cross-cluster recovery with their Kubernetes backup data. This allows them to take Kubernetes backups from one Amazon EKS cluster and restore that Kubernetes backup into a different EKS cluster altogether. More specifically, they could take a copy or a backup of CSI snapshots of data that existed in their “Prod” Amazon EKS account and migrate that Kubernetes backup data and restore it to their “Dev” EKS account, which could then be used for DevOps testing, staging. etc.
